Honey & Comb
The 2011 honey season is underway; even with the awful wet and cold start to spring, we should have a decent honey crop this year.
We offer 100% pure honey – just how the honeybees made it. Nothing taken away. Nothing added. We strive for honey that is as pure as it can be; our bees are pesticide-free, and sustainably maintained.
Even though the nectar flow is just getting under way here in northern Minnesota, we are offering the chance the get in on the good stuff (honey) now.
Pricing and Options
1 to 4 jars (1lb each) - $8.00 per jar
5 to 8 jars (1lb each) - $7.00 per jar
9 or more jars (1lb each) - $6.00 per jar
(If not picking up honey, shipping is extra)
The first harvest of honey will occur early-September, followed by one final, smaller harvest (to get aster and goldenrod honey - delicious on ice cream) in mid-October.
⇒ How does the Honey CSA work? We ask that you pay for the honey upfront, and you will be notified when it is available for pickup (or, if you chose to have it shipped, it will simply be shipped).
